Department of Justice (DOJ) holds primary responsibility for all legal issues involving the U.S. Federal government and its laws. These include preventing crime, enforcing immigration and environmental laws, and safeguarding our Constitutional liberties.

Environment and Natural Resources Division - Litigates on behalf of the U.S. government on environmental topics, including pollution, wildlife stewardship, court challenges to environmental management and the acquisition of property for conservation uses.

BioEco Work Group Activities

The BioEco work group meets several times a year to carry out its chartered missions. The work group also sponsors workshops and other fora to promote understanding of the issues and technologies pertinent to biodiversity and ecosystems informatics.
